Buildings IOT Adds Former WeWork Head of Operations Jamie Uhlir

Buildings IOT expands its leadership team to address growing client demand for smarter, healthier, and more cost-efficient buildings.

CONCORD, CA, August 11, 2021 -Buildings IOT (BIOT) announced today that Jamie Uhlir – former Head of Operations for WeWork’s Atlantic territory – has joined the company as Director, Building Systems. Uhlir will oversee all building systems projects to streamline processes and help BIOT clients achieve value-driven results in this newly created role.

“Over my time spent with WeWork, Buildings IOT was essential in helping my territory grow effectively, and I was excited to learn of the creation of this role,” stated Uhlir. “I’m looking forward to this new opportunity to help other companies achieve the level of success that we experienced at WeWork through this partnership.”

While at WeWork, Uhlir oversaw more than 80 properties within the Atlantic territory. His accomplishments include modernizing and improving operational procedures resulting in increased efficiencies and profitability. Under Uhlir’s leadership, WeWork’s Atlantic territory grew 400% while transforming operations from a cost center to a profit center. Uhlir’s experience also includes work with other high-growth companies, including Topgolf.
